Roberts' Family Motorsports is the Registered Name and Drag Racing Team Owned and Operated by Dennis & Carol Roberts and their two sons, Nathan and Jason.  Since its inception in 1977, Roberts' Family Motorsports has enjoyed a successful Drag Racing History with many racing event wins to their credit.  Keeping it "Simple" and "Fun" is the foundation of this Drag Racing Team from the beginning.  Roberts' Family Motorsports will not except nothing less than being the best at their God given hobby, Drag Racing.

Based in Camby, Indiana, Roberts' Family Motorsports has maintained a sense of high integrity, supporting the community they live in and lending a helping hand when called upon when time permits between racing events.

As of 2009, Roberts' Family Motorsports have enjoyed 29 Drag Racing Event wins; 21 runner-up finishes and won 399 rounds during racing events in their 33 years of Drag Racing.

The main foundation of Roberts' Family Motorsports is their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to whom is given all of the praise and glory.

JOHN 11:25-26  Jesus said, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.  Believest thou this?"

Mom passed away on July 29, 1988.  Known by the community as the "helping hand," Mom always helped the neighbors when she could.  She would always welcome the new neighbors to the community by taking them fresh garden vegetables.  Her Southern Style Home Cooked meals was her trade mark.  Mom's Love for her Children and Grand Children is beyond explanation.  Her mother instincts were a Gift from God Himself!!!   She was the corner stone of the Roberts' Family and is missed more than words can say.  We know that we will see her again one day in Glory!

Dad Passed away on March 21, 2009. Dad wasn't an outgoing person like Mom, however, his heart was right when it came to helping his Friends and Neighbors.  Those that took the time to know Dad, found a tremendously humble man, who cared more than people gave him credit.  That was very evident during his Funeral with words of Love from those that knew Dad.  Dad is missed more than words can say.  We will see him again one day in Glory!!!

CLYDE!!!

A New Member of the Roberts' Family came to us a couple years ago.  A Six week old Boxer/Lab mix was carried into our home by our Son Jason.  He couldn't keep CLYDE due to the area he lives in.  So, we took on the responsibility of caring for this precious Dog.  CLYDE knows Carol and I as Grandma and Grandpa.  CLYDE has a good appetite and YES, he eats his vegetables.  Carrots and Cucumbers are his special veggies.  He is territorial; however, if he gets to know you, Well, CLYDE is your Friend for life.  Just ask the Pizza Delivery Lady.  No problems when she comes around.  Pictured is one of his quiet moments laying in Grandpa's recliner.

Our Family has a combined total of 91 years of Military Service.

In 2006, Dennis retired from the Military.  Serving in various capacities in his 30 years of service, the most rewarding experience was serving in the Infantry.  This experience gave him a "Rock Steady" and "Rock-N-Roll" Spirit that drives him today in the Race Shop.

Dennis rose through the ranks serving in various capacities.  In the beginning, he served as a Chaplain's Assistant until life in various field environments drew him to the Infantry.  At that time, it was unheard of for a Chaplain's Assistant to change Military Occupation Skill to Infantry, but it happened.  Graduating Honor Graduate and Outstanding Squad Leader of the Training Cycle forged Dennis' metal to acheive a Meritorious Military service that ended in April 2006.  A second Meritorious Service Medal was given upon his retirement.  This demeanor has flowed over to the the Race Shop activities with steadfastness.
